2. How do I book an act?

You can book an act by contacting us through the form on our Contact page, emailing enquiries@pintsizedmusic.com, or using the provided contact details for the specific act. A deposit is typically required to secure the booking, with the full balance due on, or before, the day of the event.

No, all costs, including travel, accommodation (if required), and expenses, will be included in the final quote provided to you.

4. How do I get a personalised quote?

To get a personalized quote, contact us with as much detail about your event as possible, including the location, date, and specific requirements. You can also inform us of your budget, and we will provide honest and professional communication regarding pricing and services.

5. What does the 'complimentary DJ service' include?

The complimentary DJ service, provided by many acts, ensures continuous music during your event. Acts will use their, or the venue's, PA system to play music similar to their performance style during setup, breaks, and pack down. You can request a specific playlist if desired.

6. Will the act provide their own PA system?

Yes, if the act requires a PA for their performance, it will be provided as part of the fee. For events with larger audiences, we may need to discuss using a venue PA or hiring a larger system.

7. Can we use the PA system for speeches and announcements?

Yes, this needs to be discussed with the act prior to the event, but usually, you will be able to use an act's PA system for any speeches and announcements during the contracted time. If needed outside of these times, PA hire can be arranged at an additional cost.

8. Is lighting provided by the act?

Most acts do not require or provide their own lighting, however, some DJs and certain acts may offer lighting for their performances. If you are unsure, please contact us for specific details regarding an act.

9. How long will the act perform for?

Performance durations vary by act. Common options include 1 x 60, 2 x 45, or 3 x 45 minute sets. DJs can perform longer sets and provide background music during breaks. Specific durations will be determined when providing a quote.

10. Do I need to provide food and drink for the act?

We ask that water is always made available for any of our acts during their contracted time. Additional drinks or food are appreciated, however, they are not required unless specified in the agreed rider on the contract to ensure performers are well-fueled for their performance(s).

12. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?

Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be communicated to us as soon as possible. The deposit required to secure a booking is non-refundable, however, we will do our best to accommodate changes and reschedule where possible.

11. Why don't you provide an exact price on your website?

Each event is unique, and factors such as travel, set lengths, equipment hire, and accommodation influence the final quote. We don't provide exact prices online to avoid misleading clients. However, if you provide us with a budget range you have in mind, we will be open and honest about what we can offer within that budget, ensuring transparency and flexibility in meeting your event needs.

13. Can I request specific songs or setlists for the performance?

While we are always open to accommodating requests, our acts have extensive experience in delivering polished and well-ordered sets. We recommend allowing our performers the freedom to showcase their expertise. If you desire a song not in an act’s repertoire, they may be able to learn it for an additional fee. For DJs, consultations will cover song choices and request policies during your event. Please provide any specific song requests in advance, and we will do our best to incorporate them.
